The Story of the Weeping Camel provides insights about the ways in which a child can become misguided when there is no presence of a mother in the life of the child. In this story, it is the life of a Bactrian camel which goes to misery because of estrangement and rejection from the mother camel. The life of this camel-calf had been missing the love and warmth generally received by other camels from their mothers. Therefore, this calf had to be careful to survive by finding food and water.
